Award-winning community pub company Hawthorn Leisure has launched an online toolkit, handing its pub partners quick and easy access to a wide selection of print and digital marketing materials.

Called The Hawthorn Leisure Online Toolkit, the brand new portal enables pub partners to order a range of sales-driving and business support assets, helping them communicate with customers across a variety of channels.

A second phase is scheduled to go live before the end of the year, giving partners access to discounted consumables, utilities, party supplies and cleaning materials from a wide range of suppliers.

Phase one sees partners able to order personalised, professionally-designed materials to help them promote events and activities at their pubs, while non-bespoke templates can be ordered and delivered quickly to partners needing a rapid turnaround.

A wide range of print design concepts will be available to suit the different types of pubs within the Hawthorn Leisure estate, including value, premium and traditional country pubs; and from categories including food and drink offers, entertainment, sport, and functions.

As well as pub partners, the Toolkit can be accessed by Hawthorn Leisure’s team of business development managers, along with the Birmingham-based company’s head office team, so they can all guide pub partners and help them make informed choices to support their businesses.

Hawthorn Leisure managing director of operations Mark McGinty said: “This is huge for us, and very exciting. We’ve not had anything like the Toolkit until now. It’s completely tailored to our partners’ needs, is very user-friendly, easy to navigate, and can do so much.

“We’re really keen to provide our partners with all the materials they require to run successful, sustainable businesses, and the Toolkit gives them quick, easy access to everything from banners, beer mats and glassware to cleaning equipment.”

Hawthorn Leisure operates more than 650 community pubs across England, Scotland and Wales, which are owned by specialist leisure and retail company NewRiver.

Developed by Little White Van, the Toolkit can be accessed via laptops, tablets and smartphones, and features tutorials for users.

Little White Van, which specialises in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors, offers integrated creative, production and delivery services of marketing materials, from its site in Liverpool.
