Property Features

The pub is a traditional B&W beamed pub set close to the main intersection of two major (and busy) roads. There is lots of passing traffic and lots of residential housing nearby. The pub is accessed via the main road/front door, and this leads into the main bar area. There is a single bar serving an open plan bar with three distinct seating areas – one of these could be sacrificed for a pool table. Toilets are accessed to the rear along with the covered smoking area and beer garden. The Private Accommodation requires extensive investment and as such is currently considered uninhabitable – the site is essentially a Lock-Up

Trading Style

This is very much a wet-led community “boozer”. It trades off predominantly loyal custom and live sports, but the introduction of pool/darts would be welcomed along with a small cask ale range. The site needs a strong ROW and events plan. The right applicant would ideally be local but essential is an understanding of the importance of having a string Row/Events plan in a community pub and the drive to implement it and market is via Social Media. The Pub Company are looking to work with friendly self-motivated and energetic individuals (or couples) who want to become a part of this lively community, possess the passion to drive the sales forward, promote activities and raise the standards of the pub. You will be a self-employed operator and work as a limited company; you will take responsibility for PAYE and offer your team of employees a workplace pension. The successful operator must be an experienced manager, with the ability to carry out all the usual duties including a good knowledge of H&S, confident customer skills, stock control, cellar management, cash handling and bookkeeping. In return, they offer you a great package. Security and knowledge of a very successful pub company supporting you all the way No financial headaches A generous percentage of the weekly net sales Free online training for you and your staff members
